Kenny Wooten
Ceo | Founder | Director
Kenny Wooten (he/him) is an award winning filmmaker and the founder and CEO of STBY Studio currently based in Philadelphia. Kenny received his BFA in Film from the University of the Arts in 2019. Shortly after graduating he filmed and edited the tv show Road Trip Masters which aired on the Discovery Channel. For his work on the show Wooten was awarded 3 Telly Awards for Best Travel Show, Cinematography, and Editing. In 2019 Kenny founded STBY Studio with the goal of capturing unique stories that connect with people. Through his business he has gained more knowledge and experience in producing commissioned work for celebrities, influencers, and executives.
Kat Poljak
Creative Director | Producer
Katarina Poljak (they/them) is a celebrated filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist, recognized for their work in prestigious venues like The Kimmel Center, Vox Populi Gallery, and the Icebox Project Space, as well as various international film festivals including ARFF Paris, Croatian Fashion Film, Indie Short, and Rethink Dance.
With a BFA from the University of the Arts in 2019, Poljak's journey is diverse. They currently excel in multiple roles within the film industry, serving as a freelance Production Sound Mixer, Assistant Editor, and Co-Director on several feature-length documentary projects.
In addition to their freelance career, Poljak shares their expertise as an Adjunct Professor at The University of the Arts, School of Film. They also contribute creatively as a part-time Creative Director and Producer at STBY Studio, engaging in diverse projects across different mediums.
Lexi Stranix
Producer | Editor | Social Media Coordinator
Lexi Stranix She/her/hers is an Editor, Director, and Camera Operator working on and around the East Coast, USA. In 2021 Lexi worked as the Head of Video Production at Manic Kat records where she Directed, shot, produced and edited Professional Music Videos. Lexi graduated from Drexel University in 2023 with a degree in Entertainment and Arts Management, and a minor in Video Production under the direction/leadership of 11 time regional Emmy winner Jeanne McHale Waite. Lexi enjoys working on eye-catching and thought-provoking films and enjoys working as a team to bring projects to life.
